Meet Dr. Lindsey

We all encounter stressful situations and events in our lives that can feel overwhelming and even insurmountable at times. These experiences are a normal part of life and may lead us to require a little help from time to time.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides psychotherapy services with children, adolescents, adults, and families.  I adopt a collaborative and strengths-based approach to both therapy and psychological assessment. I believe that everyone has a unique set of strengths and qualities that can be helpful in achieving our personal goals and empowering us to reach our true potential.

The Process & What to Expect

Step Two

Preparation

After we have determined that we are a good fit, the next step is for us to schedule the initial 1-hour intake appointment and for you to complete important registration and intake paperwork via our easy to use secure client portal.  At this time we will collect relevant insurance information (if you plan to use insurance) and at your request we will verify benefits on your behalf.  Please note that all intake paperwork MUST be completed 24 hours prior to your first appointment.

Step Three

First appointment

The next step is for us to meet for the initial 1-hour intake appointment (diagnostic assessment) where we meet to discuss your concerns in more detail, gather important background information about you and what you are looking for, and develop an individualized treatment plan to address your personal goals and identify things that you would like to learn, change, or improve throughout the course of therapy.

Next Steps

Ongoing Therapy

After the initial intake appointment, we can get into the real work (yay!) Typically you can expect to meet with your therapist weekly at the beginning of treatment which allows us to get to know each other faster and have more opportunities to  make progress towards your personal goals for therapy.
