In my therapeutic work, I recognize the importance of trust in the therapeutic relationship and the tremendous courage it takes to allow yourself to be open and vulnerable with another person.  I strive to provide a supportive, understanding, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable to bring your true self into the room and openly express your thoughts and feelings.

 

In my work with children and adolescents, I encourage creativity and often incorporate play therapy techniques to assist children in developing and enhancing their ability to solve problems, manage challenging emotions, and build autonomy and self-confidence.  In addition to working one-on-one with children, I also believe that is it essential to partner with parents/caregivers and caregivers to assist you in gaining strategies and tools with how to best support your child in times of distress and difficulty.  In working together, we can explore ways to enhance the overall quality and satisfaction in your relationship with your child.
